Jesse Mann has been sharing his love of music with dancefloors worldwide for over 12 years. All manner of funky and soulful music feature in his eclectic DJ sets–he’s been known to drop everything from shuffling Afrobeat to forgotten Funk classics, Disco gems, Deep House, and more in a single marathon set, seamlessly blending them together into one cohesive whole. Jesse has ignited dancefloors across the US and in Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Puerto Rico, and beyond. In his home base of NYC he’s played alongside such music legends as Afrika Bambaata, The Egyptian Lover, Matthew Dear, and LTJ Bukem, at storied NYC nightlife institutions such as Limelight, Cielo, Love, APT, The Standard Hotel, The Lunatarium, and 3rd Ward–among many others.
Jesse currently holds down a long-time residency DJing and booking live bands for Body Music, the intimate dance party at Bembe in Williamsburg–rocking every Sunday since 2005. There he mixes up the full spectrum of funked out rhythms alongside some of the most talented musicians in Brooklyn.
